From best-selling author and celebrated director Clive Barker comes a supernatural thriller that rips apart the boundries between sanity and madness, between the art of illusion and the terrifying forces of magic.  With heart-stopping suspense and state-of-the-art special effects, it's a riveting journey into the shadowy corners of the human soul.
Scott Bakula portrays Harry D'Amour, a private detetive visiting Los Angelos on a routine investigation.  Harry gets more than he bargained for when he encounters Philip Swann, a performer whose amazing illusions captivate the world.  But are they really illusions?  Harry isn't so sure as he is thruat into a nightmare of murder, deception and terrifying assualts from the dark beyond.  The thills, chills, and all-consuming passion build with each shocking twist, culminating in a horrific battle for the fate of all mankind.
rich with "masterful visual effect" and non-stop terror, Lord of Illusions is spellbinding entertainment from a master of the genre.
This is one AWESOME movie.  Just watching it for all of the cool visual effects is a treat in and of itself.  Then an added plotline that is terrifying and exciting, and you have yourself a grade A movie.  And who can forget when they bind that dude at the beginning of the movie.  I remember seeing those screws drill into his head on the big screen the first time I saw it.  Unbeatable.
