What the back of the book says
What I thought
For a century and a half, Azalin had been lord, and prisoner, of the greatest domain in Ravenloft.  For a century and a half, he had searched and fought for his freedom, and now, at last, it was at hand.
To gain his long-sought freedom, all he had to do was journey through time and slay his greatest enemy...  two hundred years before his own birth.  But the Voices-Voices that haunted and taunted him since his days as a mortal sorcerer-had something else in mind...
This book was about average.  Since it was a continuation of King of the Dead, I was not really expecting a great book however.  So it wasn't really a letdown.  The main gripe I have about this book, and it's prelude, is Azalin.  I'm not sure why, but I just find his character annoying for some reason.  I don't know, maybe you'll enjoy it.
